Meet the Doctor

 

Dr. Harrison is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where he received a BA degree before entering dental school.  He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree in 1973.  In September of 1973 he entered the US Army dental Corps where he spent two years at Darnell Army Hospital in Kileen, Texas.

During those two years he did speciality training with a board certified crown and bridge specialist and periodontist(gum specialist). He received many hours of additional training in participating in the General Dentistry Residency Program at Darnell Army Hospital.

In 1986 he was the first dentist to attend the mini residency program in Cosmetic Dentistry at the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Harrison is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentisty, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, and the Fourth District Dental Society. He regularly attends the Dawson Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and The Seattle Institute for Dental Education in addition to other studies in advanced dental education.  He is certified in Invisalign Clear braces, several implant systems, and believes that dentistry is a continual journey of learning.

He does one appointment smile makeovers using the CEREC cad/cam system for all porcelain crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers. Dr. Harrison also uses the Biolase Laser for several dental procedures which enables the patient to have restorations done comfortably without an injection of anesthia. He is a caring and committed professional who is dedicated to his patient’s dental health.  He has a wealth of knowledge from over 30 years of education and experience using the latest technology to provide the best dentistry possible.
